1. Boiling Water

First of all, most of the water distiller for home use come with an electric heater at the bottom. As you pour in some water in the tank of the water distiller, it starts heating the water up in order to make it boil.

2. Water Reaches the Top

Being lighter than the air inside the water distiller, water vapour rises up. The top of the distiller is comprised of a cooling system. The task of this cooling system is to cool down the water vapour and turn it into water droplets.

3. Impurities are Left Behind

Another thing to notice here is that the water distillation process does not remove impurities from the water, instead, it separates pure water from impurities. Hence, the purified water goes through the process of condensation and moves to the nozzle.
